The title says it all. Remember those cute little penguins you see at the zoo and how incredibly cute they are with thier waddling? Well, take all the cuteness out of it and that's what I look like. I knew this was inevitable though. I am hurting pretty bad but it's not so intense that I am skipping the workout today. I know me. If I skip it today I will make every excuse not to do it tomorrow and so on. So I am trudging through it this afternoon and hopefully I won't curse so much that my neighbors call the police.
A lot of people have asked me "How are you losing weight? What are you eating?". While I wish I could tell them I am eating no processed food and that I haven't had dessert in months, I would be lying. Want to know a little secret? I eat chocolate EVERYDAY! I love chocolate and I refuse to cut it out. Rather than cutting it out completely, I have changed what kind of chocolate I have. It's usually in the form of dark chocolate or sugar free pudding but it' still chocolate. I admire people that could do the whole vegan thing or the no processed diets. I think they rock. However I cannot do it. I would be hateful towards everyone and I would end up in Mcdonalds by the second hour of trying. The thing with weight loss is finding what works for you. What I do might not work for the next person and vice versa and if you sit wasting your time wondering why you can't be as disciplined as Jane Doe than all your doing is wasting a lot of time sitting. A lot of it is trial and error too. Maybe you know if you buy a certain type of food you won't control yourself. Maybe you know if you substitute it with something healthier but similar then you can make it work. I love hearing about different people's approaches to weight loss. It's true that losing weight isn't rocket science. It's simply calories in vs. out. However how you get the calories in vs. out is entirely up to you!
